    Error 511 in Fanuc OM/ Johnford VM1050

We recently changed out the bearings in or Junkford CNC. We are now getting a 511 Alarm. The (x) axis will not go to zero. I have tried to power on using the CTRL + P soft restart. But nothing has changed. (Not sure if I preforming the function correctly.)

I have also tried to change the parameters for code 704 and 747 to -999 but the machine still over travels any ideas on how to correct this issue? I'm new to this machine and controls set up......... so I am at a loss.

uhhh - as far as I know it's not the ctrl button - the sequence is: with control power off hold down P and CAN at the same time while you turn on the control power - wait to let go until the machine finishes booting up. If you changed a bearing and had the motor removed from the ballscrew on that axis then you have to reset the limits for x axis becasue the absolute encoder still thinks the table is in the same spot as when you took the machine apart but odds are it isn't right?
