So here's the problem. I currently run a 1984-85 Nakamura-Tome Supertrn 2 with fanc controls. For the most part the machine rns like a champ. Everything but the spindle drive that is. Three times in the past nine months the machine has gone down due to alarms dealing with the AC Spindle drive. Two of the times I recieved an alarm 12 "DC link current flows excessively", this last time around I recieved an alarm 2 "Speed deviation from the command value." Now I am starting to wonder if something that I am doing is causing these issues or is there something going on that is out of my control. I've asked the technician who does the work on this machine and never got a clear answer. Does anybody on here have any suggestions or ideas on what to check?

Thanks,

John
