Hello!
I'm the proud owner of a Gweike WK1313 router and it functions great (after ditching the DSP and installing Eding CNC)
The machine works, has a 3 kw router and can run all day. My problem is with the bits. I'm buying good quality spiral bits but they break.
working speed: 3000 mm/minute = 136 inch / minute
depth of cut: 6 mm = 0.27 inch
RPM = 22000
Material = Oak
What am I doing wrong?
Feed = N x cpt x RPM
Feed N chip load rpm
7200 2 0,2 18000
The formula says that the machine should run at 7200 mm/minute, thats more than twice so fast. The bit looks good, sharp and no burning marks and was cutting great until it broke.
Advice anyone?
