Hi Fred. I don't want to discourage you, but I'm not sure what you are saying-the English is poor. It is hard to understand. Perhaps you can try again? Just trying to help...

That's better! Let's see what our other members have to say. I've little experience with the Dremel and have not heard of the Proxxon. Can anyone give Fred some advice?

Neither are that great for heavy use, but both are fine for light duty use.

Both would be for light duty use only. Here on this side of the pond, Dremel is more widely known. I don't know if Proxxon is more widely known there than Dremel. Dremel does have a nice cylindrical case that makes mounting it easier. One negitive thing is that both have thier bearings mounted in plastic cases. Since you are doing wax it will have to be variable speed, wax at high speed will melt and ball up.

I would recommend building your own spindle driven by a 900 series or bigger DC motor or even a sewing machine motor. A while back I came across a site where the gentalman built his own spindle and it was driven by a DC small/medium size motor. I will try and find it for you.
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.

Proxxon makes more then one router. I think that the ones with an aluminium front are better then a dremel but also more expensive.
The plastic ones are about the same quality.

    http://www.hegema.nl/catalogi/N_frame.html (it's a dutch site).

    I use a BFW 40/E router in combination with a KT150 XY-table wich I converted with steppers.
They are both from proxxon and I'm verry happy with them.
