Hello,
I'm currently a student at WSU Tech in Wichita, Ks. Since Jan 13, 2025 I've been in the Machining Technology program, but I've decided to change direction and go into CNC Maintenance.
I'm slated to take one course this Summer, CNC Operations for Maintenance Applications, but the bulk of my classes will start in the Fall. What I am looking for is 3-5 books to start studying now, I'd like to have a good foundation before classes start.
Here is my Fall class list:
Foundations of Manufacturing
Industrial Safety (also an OSHA 10 Hour course but I took that this semester)
Variable Speed Motor Control
AC/DC Circuits
Manufacturing Equipment and Tools
Future Classes include:
Fluid Power
PLC & Industrial PLC
Advanced Motor Control
Industrial Schematics
Electrical System Troubleshooting
Mechanical Systems
Predictive and Preventative Maintenance
Industrial Process Control
Any advise on a reading list would be greatly appreciated.
