    given surfcam2000 is it worth trying to learn

    hello ive been up and down looking for a cad and cam program i built a cnc roughter and have a sherline mill converted also now that thats done i need to move on to get and learn software to run them.i was given bobcad17 and surfcam2000. witch one sould i learn or sould i just buy rino and vm?? if i go the surfcam way how would i go about learning it and help or sugestions would be helpfull all i want to due is some carving art type stuff on the rougter and non super compex stuff on the sherline ie small rc car parts etc thx chris

    i would try both. i have never used bobcad but i know Surfcam is a more powerful software. i have one seat of Surfcam 2003 and one seat of Edgecam 9.0. i alternate between the two.

    I'd buy it off you if you have the dongle
