Hi all im a newbie at this (as im sure you all here a hundred times) anyways I bought an 8x4 SMS CR20 cnc router with Amtech software for which I was planning on using for signmaking, now the problem im having is for one it takes ages (30 mins)for any files to load onto this progam and im tryin everything to speed it up, the computer is a pentium 3 and the router runs of two IO expansion ports. Now I was tryin to run mach3 but it won't run of win98 so I have to try somethun else, I have bought V Carve pro and Enroute 3 but my post processor dosen't support tool changing as well to top everything off. So basically im in big trouble. Is there anyboby can help or tell me of a post processor the will run from the IO ports and also a faster one... any help would be very much appreciated.By the way the files that amtech's program opens are gnc and ipc files...
