Well anyway have had limited time to play with my S1 R2V3 with boss 10 control..

But have been finding my way around it. Run a few programs in wood.

And took my first few passes in steel putting a square edge on a large plate of steel. Just was using the Midi interface with that to make it pass back and forth on the 23" long edge but was cool. LOTS more cutting capasity then my round pole cnc

Keep thinking to my self how cool this thing must have seemed back in 1985.

Seems to all work VERY well though.

The X servo motor seemed like it was getting pretty warm though. Could still hold it though. Don't think it was getting "To" hot to run but wondering about the heat since it was really not running at 100% seeing it got breaks bettween the passes when I was typeing in the return G code for the return path. Anyway who knows

Still having issues uploading programs to the boss. I can get programs in but it seems like it does not get the end of file signal or something after the file is sent and I hit edit to jump out/abort the load process and the program stays in memory. only been able to upload with hyper terminal so far. EZ loader does not work at all. Just gives me an Xon error when I try to use that program over the RS232 port.
