    Unhappy haas motor controle board chips

    Hi i have ea haas VF1 and I nead two eprom chips for it
    ATML
    ATF16 V 8C
    7JC 9842

    PALCE
    16V 8H-7JC/5
    9830CBMB
    810-31505
    THESE ARE SMALL 4 SIDE 20 PIN SERFACE MOUNT CHIP
    HELP I CANT FIND THEM HAAS WILL ONLY SELL ME A COMPLETE BOARD

    Hi Shide,

    I'm sorry to disappoint you. These chips are programmable logic, so you get them in 3 flavours: unprogrammed (useless), programmed with something else (useless), or programmed by Haas (working). To reproduce these chips you have to know the logic of the chip (what does it do?) and the pinout (what are the inputs and the outputs and what pins on the chip are they tied on?). And the million dollar question is: "How did you come to the conclusion these chips were defective?"
