I am looking for help in setting the X offsets for tooling on a hyper turret, specifically drills. The offset to centerline function (using F2) is working, however it is providing the center offset distance for the six positions where live tooling is located. What I need, is for it to provide is the correct center line offset for a static tool that is located in one of the six static tool holder locations.

Because it is a hyper turret, the static holders are on a different diameter than the live tooling positions.

This is new to me so any help would be appreciated!

Hyper Turret? The hyper turret doesn't have any flats on the outside, that is the hybrid turret.

Sweep the holder with an indicator. Record that position in a variable or print a label for the front of the control.


For advanced users: The F2 key uses parameter 254, but the value is recorded in encoder steps.
