Hello,
I'm using a Harrison Alpha 400 lathe and it's flashing Spindle Fault Detected on the DRO and the error code 2 in the cabinet. Shutting it down used to clear the fault but it no longer does. I've seen on other threads here that an error code of 9 pertains to the chuck guard switch but I couldn't find what 2 means and fiddling with the switch hasn't helped. I think has it a Mitsubishi A200 inverter if that helps. Can anyone offer any insight?

If anyone has the same problem if did turn out to be a faulty chuck guard switch.
