    Hawk 150 wiring question

    Hello all,

We recently purchased a used (1998 vintage) Cincinnati Milacron Hawk 150 turning center that has an extra two wire lead coming out of the transformer. It is a shielded, two wire cable, maybe 16 gauge and looks to be OEM. The plug on the end of the labeled P6. The problem is that there are a dozen or so places in the electrical enclosure this could plug into. The wiring diagram doesn’t seem to address this wire. The wire bypasses the main disconnect on the electrical box, so I am assuming it is for monitoring purposes. Does anyone have a machine like this that they could look at to see where this plugs into?

    Thanks,
    Bill Egan

    p6

hello i think you are refering to the transformer over temp. if the plug is labelled p6 ( p for plug ) it mates with r6 ( r for receptacle ).
if you look you should find r6 with all the other 'sockets'. they are marked on the board alongside each one. what drawing number is your machine wired to?
the number is on the silver plate on the outside of the electrical cabinet and will start 9120****.
    regards

Thanks for the response. There is a R6 but it has another plug also labeled P6 in it already. The wiring diagram is 91203107A.
