    Help. with BOB wiring

    Hi all,
need help badly, I have decided to replace the Bob with a usb 100hz unit. (since my computer with a lpt port went bang)
so I got this onenow I can't get any motor to run.
I have found two different wiring diagrams. A). which has +5v going to the pul/dir +5v.(loop). and the pul - and Dir - (3 wire). this gives a very slow oscillation but no real movement

and B. has Dir + pul+. Gnd looped across the gnd on the driver and ENA+ being feed by the 5v+. nothing but locked up motors

I can see a pulsing led on the Bob (flash in time with the computer)

    running mach3

is there any other way of wiring this up that im missing?
anyone using the Bob that can give us a copy of there wiring?

    thanks mark

    Re: Help. with BOB wiring

I think you are using this board: MACH3 4 Axis 100KHz USB CNC Wood Router Machine Smooth Stepper Motion Controller card breakout board 12-24V
Did you connect a external powersupply to the +24 Volt the description mentioned that it's needed for this board.
In the attached picture you wil find a wiring diagram.

    Re: Help. with BOB wiring

Hi, Toinvd, thanks for the diagram.

I manage to get the thing to work I found 3 different wiring setups.
ending up with the one you posted. (for testing I didn't need the 24v power supply but will be adding as I get the switches setup)

    thanks again.

will post as I get more done..

Yes I just followed the wiring digram above. only needed 3 wires
one to DIR- looped to Pul-
    one to Dir +
    one to Pul+
didn't need the 24V. (added it later for the E stop )
