i would like to replace my sherline 4400 manual lathe with a bigger one that can do threading
lo and behold i run into a guy selling an emco compact 8, looks like it does threading.
it has three chucks and some other odds and ends, and the book
he said make an offer, and i think he'll let it go cheap
this will be superior to my sherline in every single way right? because im going to sell the sherline to pay for it and i want it to be a "step up"
also, whats it like CNC_retrofitting these? i have a feeling people do it alot
it seems like a nice little lathe..
