    HELP LOUDER STAND WOOD OR METAL?

    Ok I need help I have never herd the tormach on a stand thought about it for the first time is the self made wood stand louder then the metal one? I could make either but want the quieter one. I have a great fiberglass guy willing to make a real nice strong stand but will it be louder?

    As mills go the Tormach is quiet. I don't think you will notice any significant difference regardless of the construction method, providing the design is reasonable.
