    Help removing servo coupler

This is a NSK ballscrew linear axis in which the servo motor died. I need to remove the motor and replace it. I haven't seen this type of coupler before. I removed the four socket cap screws but the coupler is still tightly stuck to the shaft. The coupler itself is solid, there is no side slit cut into it like the usual motor couplers I have used. Any help would be appreciated.

After looking closely with a flashlight, there are studs inside the coupler. I put the two top cap screws back in halfway and started tapping on them. The studs pushed out.

When you tighten the cap screws, it pulls the studs in and cinches the motor shaft on both sides locking it in. Never seen this type of shaft coupler before.

The motor is off and time to design a 4:1 pulley system for the z-axis instead of direct drive. The original servo motor couldn't handle the weight of the 2.2kw spindle and motor mount.
