    Help with software choice

I have recently gotten my router finished and have cut out several samples from the vectricart site. The next thing I have tried to cut is my family crest. I have tried several different products but none have given me what I am looking for. I attached several pics of what I am trying to cut and what I want the final product to be. Any help would be great.

There are a number of software suppliers out there. If money is no object, I suggest Mastercam Art.

are there any tutorials for mastercam to do this? I created an art base surface from the image but it looks like a bunch of needles sticking throught the surface.

Vectric Aspire can do that. Keep in mind, that whatever software you choose to use, it'll take quite a bit of time to become proficient enough to do something like that.

your crest looks like a plain 2d vector, I don't think anything can automatically convert that to 3d for you. To get the results in your example I think you will need to hand-model the crest in 3d, and then import it into a 3d capable software package.

look on the 3d stock sites, they may have similar flourishes etc.

Do you mean some sites already may have the flourish available??? If so do you know of any? Sounds like that would make this alot less painful.

I don't know if they have exactly what you're looking for, but here are a few stock sites I know of:
