    How to create Flowline Toolpath

    Image on link above I create by BobCadcam 21
    I want to using Mastercam to create the same toolpath as I already did on Bobcad v21,

    Any one know how using Mastercam to do on this job,please give me a hint,or a tips
    Please take a look at the attach mcx file

    After play around with Matercam I just find out the way to create surface sweeps, before create flowline toolpath

    I did my part look like your tutorial video,but I miss some setup options

    Here is another option I didn't create any surface. I used the 3d wireframe to create the swept toolpath. the result is real close to Cadcams flowline with a swept surface. The tool wil stay in the cavity. Blend toolpath when they released this back in v9 was the new flowline I'm not sure if they (Mastercam) says this or not but it is a great toolpath for this shape the direction of cut can also be changed as in the flowline cadcam did.

    What do you mean like how to do setups and locate datums for Xo,Yo? not sure what you are missing sir.

    I mean I have not adjusting the surface parameter,and finish flowline parameter as you did

    here is another blend toolpath that may help somebody.
    I had to add surfaces for the tool to cut the block detail clean. Another blend example. flowline didn't work here

    Steve I helped that person with that part as well. Blend was the only toolpath I could see that would do what they needed. Good job.
