How to get files from my PC to my Hardinge GX-710 Mill?

My shop has a new Hardinge GX-710 Mill. We'v had people come in and wire it up. We've had people come in and set it up. Now we just need to know how to send existing NC files from Preditor Editor into this machine via RS-232 from a computer next to it. Can anybody talk me thru this?

We do have a "Trained" operator but he doesn't know how to program (up load) files to it. Can anybody offer any help?Click image for larger version.

Open the small door next to the monitor. You might have a pcmcia port (used on older laptops) or if your lucky a usb port. This is where I'd start, then it gives you time to get the rs232 port wired and setup. If you have a pcmcia port you need an adaptor for a compact flash memory card and a compact flash card.

    Thanks for your reply.

We've been told that we were supposed to receive a PCMCIA card with our machine, however this is not the case.We will be going to the shop that sold it to us and see about getting one. Also we will be getting training from these same people sometime in the next week or two. We'll see.
