With all the reading here, I still have not found "best practices" machining Epoxy Granite. What is better, a mill or router and what type of tooling? Is carbide sufficient, or is a diamond tool needed?

Probably the same as cutting stone, as EG should be more than 85-90% stone.
Which means diamond tools flooded with water.
Just guessing, though.
