Recently I was given a bunch of motors ,some steppers and some servos ( a few broken but most in good condition ) .
The servo's I have are Pittman mod 14206 with 280oz/inch peak torque and some CMC ( cleveland motion controls ) mod 2130 with +/- 300 oz/inch peak torque . I also have some Pittman 14903 model with a 5.9/1 gear reduction .
My question is are these strong enough for a medium size ( 40" by 20" )moving gantry wood router ( with ball bearing linear slides ) .
I might plan to use them with some gecko drives .
They seem to be for light duty from what I read in the specs but their size is quite big and long compared to a stepper with the same power .

Thanks in advance for replying .
