    I need help calculating a radius between to angles

    Hello out there. I am trying to manually calculate the intersection points of a radius between 2 angles. Can anyone help me out with how to go about it? Here is an example of the type of part I am talking about:

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Angle = (90-(40+30))/2 = 10 deg.

    Hyp = 0.5 X Tan(Angle) = 0.0881635

    ?1(X) = Hyp X Cos(40) = 2.2 - 0.0675

    ?1(Z) = Hyp X Sin(40) = -0.5 + 0.05667

    ?2(X) = Hyp X Sin(30) = 2.2 + 0.04408

    ?2(Z) = Hyp X Cos(30) = -0.5 - 0.07635

    Did the formula help or did I just waste my time?

    I would have used AutoCAD's CIRCLE command with TTR option (tangent-tangent-radius).
    But, the OP wants to do it manually.

    I suspect the OP is wanting to build this feature into his commercial software.
    Don't know if he got what he wanted. A reply of some sort would indicate if our efforts were a waste of time or not.
    I guess making money is far more important.

    Hello Kiwi,
    This guy turns up on a few Forums pretending to be at more than arm's length of the product he suggests members look at to provide the solution to whatever the Thread may be about. He contributes absolutely nothing to the Forum, only takes. His participation is poorly disguised Spam,

    Regards,

    Bill
