I think i am going the Linistepper route

After a lot of research, i think the best bet I have is to drive my three motors with Linisteppers. 3 for 75 is a good price. I know they generate a lot of heat, but I've got 50 pounds of aluminum, im sure i can spare some for a heatsink. It appears that the driver can be "tuned" to accept larger motors. My school's electronic dept. might have some parts they are willing to spare. im looking for a fairly robust and simple solution for driving my steppers. Will these Linisteppers cut it?
