    mastercam is having problems, everyone in the cad/cam industry knows it now, and they should have these problems fix within the next two years or more, but techfab from GSSL a goldmember of Solidworks seems to have there mess together if you are using Solidworks

    as for the coast. for 3D software, they changed the market, before SW average mainstream 3D CAD software was 20-30k a pop, since then, SW has forced all the other componies to come down on price. 4k for basick 7k-8k for midstream, and 11k-13k for advance those are great prices for what you get

    Kingz what is the issues as you state that everyone one knows?
    I cut solidwork files all the time and bring them rigth into MC.

    So please explane as you make a blanket statment.

    SolidWorks is the way to go if you can.
    I would also recomend Igetit training by cadpo. It's a great refrence.
    Alibre is worth a look. If it meet's your need's and cost is a major factor.
    I own both but work and play with SolidWorks.
