    Is it safe?

Is it safe to use an 11 Amp psu to power 3 gecko 320's and 3 7.5 Amp (max) motors - IF i confine the movements to one axis at a time, and NO CUTTING!
I ask this because I am having some serious problems with my bigger (24Amp) psu which needs to be repaired, but I would like to see my machine running - ie setup software and tune the drives. If you think it's risky, I can just disconnect two of the drives, and only have one motor connected at any one time. Thanks guys

If you have set the current limit screw to match your motors you will be fine. I run three G320's on 10 amps on my drill/mill. Under normal use of the mill you will not be using very many amps per axis.
    Thanks
