An Automotive Tier I supplier in Huntington Beach, CA is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator. This position is a 4-6 month contract position with a potential to go direct. Below is a brief job description:

Responsible for supporting CNC department activities, and providing technical liaison support for the advanced concepts center design and modeling staff.

1. Digitize surface information utilizing SCS & Nvision scanning equipment.Utilize 3-dimensional CATIA & IGES information to develop n.c. cutter path data.

2. Operate 5-Axis. milling equipment for model development in a variety of media.

3. Coordinate build and set up of armatures required to support prove out model development.

4. Provide technical support for model set up and development.

5. Coordinate procurement of prints/layouts/cad data to support advanced concepts activities.

Certificate or thorough knowledge of CMM and N.C. milling operation

Certified CATIA training or equivalent preferred

Skilled in drafting/layout

Experience with Zimmerman 5-Axis equipment with Seimen’s controller preferred
