    Jogging keyboard with potentiometer question

I have the planet CNC Jogging keyboard with potentiometer but would like to build my own enclosure for it with a longer reach than the ribbon cable that comes with it so I was thinking of buying the Adapter for 16 pin header (https://planet-cnc.com/product/adapt...16-pin-header/ and building my own wire bundle. I guess I would have to get one on each side for it to work. I am very much new to all of this but A do you think that would work or B do you have a better idea? Thanks

Re: Jogging keyboard with potentiometer question

If you will use existing jogging keyboard then you can get longer ribbon cable. In our "Connection kit" is 100cm of 16 wire ribbon cable.

If this is not enough then ask for longer and we will cut it to any size you want.

If you will use some other buttons then "Adapter for 16 pin header" is better solution.
