I used my KFLOP to set up a 3D printer with stepper motor drivers.

The machine worked for several months really well. However these days, the axises controlled by JP5 is not working.

I used a voltmeter to measure the voltage output of JP5, but found that the voltage always shows zero on the voltmeter.

What happened to my JP5 port?

P.S. All the other ports work fine.

Hi ychen488,

To test JP5 functionality:

#1 Disconnect everything from KFLOP except USB and +5V
#2 cycle power on KFLOP for all default configuration
#3 Use Kmotion.exe Digital I/O Screen
#4 Select I/O 36 as Output
#5 Toggle I/O 36 state on and off
#6 Measure voltage levels on JP5 Pin 1 with Voltmeter relative to KFLOP GND
#7 Repeat for other 7 I/O

Thank you so much! I'm trying to test it right now. How can we make it to a constant high voltage from PIN 1 so we can measure it?

See step #5. Check the box to make the output high. Leave it checked.
