    keeping thin wood flat.

What is the best way to keep flat thin wood that likes to bow.
I was using a honeycomb table but after reading people feelings regarding honeycomb tables
have move to a slat table with much better results.
My question is how to keep the wood flat on the slats if it starts to bow. On the honeycomb bed I was using magnets but
this will not work on the blacken aluminium slats.

Any suggestion would be most helpful.

I used to fly cut aluminum plates with only double sided tape holding them down

I cut myself some J shaped hold downs that fit into the holes in the bottom of my bed. They are made with 1/4" material in mind but I can really easily angle them or leverage them to hold thinner materials.

I cut a cardboard mask to cover the entire table area with a hole the size of the work piece to be cut. The vacuum from my exhaust fan keeps the thin material flat.
