    Kitamura Mycenter 3X 2111,2112,2113 alarms

can anyone help me identify these alarms? the machine is a mycenter 3x with yasnac i80 control. the manual lists these alarms but gives no description, just the alarm #. originally i had servo alarms and absolute error alarms, i swapped fc300b, tried a different motor/encoder, inspected the cables and found a short. i fixed it and cleared all the servo/absolute error alarms and now i have
    3100 servo
    3083 pg error z
    3082 pg error y
    3081 pg error z
    3000 servo off
    2113 r-s short circuit z
    2112 r-s short circuit y
    2111 r-s short circit x
im quite certain the pg errors are a result of the r-s short cicuit, i have tried swapping fc300b with no luck, so if anyone can point me in the right direction with these r-s alarms it would be a big help. just a description of the alarm would be great. thanks

got it figured out, the short was somewhere in the X-axis servopack. having an extra mycenter with a blown gearbox as a parts supply really helps.

I'm having the same problem intermittently with my Matsuura MC-600vf. Did you have the card repaired or find the what was causing the problem? I don't have any spares.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

i believe the problem was in the X-axis servo pack. i swapped a number of cards as instructed in the manual. after i changed the servo pack all alarms were cleared. were fortunate here to have spares on hand, as 2 of our Kitamuras have lived long full lives and now supply the rest with parts, they have been run hard for many, many years. from what ive seen these machines have a mind of thier own, i can try for hours sometimes trying to clear alarms, and all of a sudden they just start working again. i wish i could be of more help to you.

I figured it out last night. The Amphenol on the encoder was allowing the connectors to slide back. I took the outer shell off and slid them in to place. Problem solved.

    Thanks for the reply,
    Kevin
