My company is looking to buy a Laser Measurement system to measure linear axis on there machines. We have numerous machines that have 20' plus of travel that have never been laser calibrated.
I'm trying to find if it is better to look at purchasing one or if it is just worth calling someone in when needed?
So looking for some people that have good suggestions on one and know some prices $$ on them.

I like the renishaw system. With optics and such, figure 30k +.
