    Learning manual programming

    Hey folks,

Have been around here for maybe a year or so, so kind of saying Hi as well as asking my 1st question here, hope this is the spot? I have been in the Machining field for about 14 years now, mainly Mazak lathes and machining centers(VTC16A). My only programming experience is Mazak, converstional/Mazatrol. Since leaving that job, long story, I have since gone on to another shop where it seems the majority of programming is G-Code, which I know absolutely NOTHING about! Now that 1/3 of our plant was laid off at christmas and I am still out, most jobs I am finding want the manual programming experience. How/where can I learn G-Code or other programming languages without a huge cost to myself?

    Thanks for any info/help
