    Yes, those are profile linear bearings/rails.

    Here is a photo of unsupported bearings blocks. There is only one ball bearing track on the underside of the rail.

    This is the very reason why you are not supposed to mount the rails so the blocks pull away from the shaft, it says it in the load rating diagram that its only capable of 50% load in that direction.

    Its designed that way for a reason. When using supported round rail you have to take into consideration this fact. Thats why I always suggest to people not to mount these rails on the front of your gantry and instead mount them on the top and bottom of the gantry to maintain proper load balancing.

    Dunno what brand Lazyman is using, but my Glacern SBR20 bearing blocks look the same.

    Have a Thomson open block somewhere, but I believev it's the same as well, though the Thomson I believe have 5 bearing races...
