Company I work for is looking for a small, 16"x16" x 10" or so printer to do some prototyping work. We do not want a hobby grade, but not commercial price either. Looking to spend may 10k max. This is not aerospace work so not looking for 1 micron type of resolution.

Got any suggestions?

I would design and build my own their seems to be nothing out there with real high quality industrial components at a reasonable cost here is one that I built and if you Google large scale repstrap you should see a little more. And 16 x 16 x 10 is actually quite large you're definitely going to need an enclosure to try to keep the heat in to reduce warping I never got that far with my printer I have a temporary enclosure that I put over it

The size is larger than most desktop 3d printers.We suggest that you can choose Makerbot Z18 or customize for some manufacturer.We found some desktop basic 3d printer can print the size:400*260*260mm,even reach 600*400*400mm.The price of professional industrial grade 3d printer is from 30000USD to 370000USD. Only 10000USD can get a decent model.Customize is a better way.Please have a try.
