Looking to add a Aluminum Tooling Plate to my g0704

I have a aluminum tooling plate for a X3 mill that I would like to use but I am not sure what problems I will run into with respect to galvanic corrosion because of the two different metals(Iron & Aluminum). The plate is cast aluminum with no anodizing on it.

Will this be a big problem or will periodical cleaning take care of this issue?

Cast aluminum and cast iron are pretty close to each other on a galvanic scale, suitable for contact under extreme (salt water) conditions. I think you will be fine on a mill. Maybe spray the surfaces with oil, silicone or grease before bolting together.
