Looking for options for a CNC router first time.

Looking at the X-Carve, but I read that some people have some small issues with it. What are my other options in the same price point and size that is a good machine?

    Thank you

    Omni cnc router catalog video
Mainly cutting wood and plastics, would like to do aluminum as well. Just hobby, so not high work demand. That omni cnc looks nice but those are huge. I said something like the X-Carve, it costs, $1500 and 31"x31".

Unfortunately, with cnc routers, you get what you pay for. All inexpensive machines are going to have issues.
What I would consider a "good" machine, would cost considerably more money.

Raptors have an ok rep, I'm happy with my OmioCNC machine. There are others on eBay which also have ballscrews and linear bearings which can be an indicator that they're not just throwaway rubbish.
