    low cost laser engraver???

    Is there such a thing as a low cost laser angraver? Could I just mount something in replace of my router on my gantry system?

    well... do a search

    on ebay for LASER ENGRAVER and another search for LASER ENGRAVING... after each result, click on SORT BY > PRICE HIGHEST FIRST ... you will find a lot ... Did you want to buy a laser engraver or did you want to add a laser tube in your CNC machine?

    I am going to get one out of a DVD burniner and try to learn from there. Eventually I want to do a CNC laser cutter. But right now if I can just burn an image into a board I would be very happy.

    Right now just want to build a small desk top CNC laser engraver. Thanks
