    Mach 3, Developed by BobCad?

    Got this in my e-mail today. REALLY??

    Mach 3 is made by ArtSoft. It is fully customizable and developable to run your machine as a controler. The mach 3 add-on for BobCad would be developed by BobCad as a partner product.

    They are not the developer of Mach 3. Just the add-on for BobCad. Clcik the link.

    If I were not already a Mach 3 user to know different, the e-mail ad, and link, sure looks as if BobCad is now developing Mach 3.

    Actually, you will have to pay for the next version of Mach (4).

    i thought that 4 was pulled from development , that was quantum or something like that , wasn't it ??
    I suppose if the changes are decent then mach is already cheap enough . For what it's worth , mach3 seems pretty hard to beat (at least for the stepper machines)

    It's a complete re-write. He's even hired another programmer to work on it. I don't think we'll see it for another 6-12 months, though.

    Mach4 will be compatible 100% with mach3? No need to re-set current set up.
