yer but if I set things wrong I could show that as well in M3, M4 and linuxcnc as you say flat out, 500ipm is 12700 mm/min if my math is correct, correct me if wrong. now if you set it to a speed mach3 or 4 liked would it look the same on the computer and machine you used, and where`s the screen shot of linuxcnc at the same feed and speeds. also M4 is a not finished products so in a week a year it may well be better.
M3 has to be bang on or it`s ruff, same with any program I can get M3 running really well at a 1250mm/min if I go faster than that it would look a bit like your picks. at 600mm/min on the small machine there is no difference that mater`s or that can really be seen between the 3 of them.
at this point it only matter`s to me what linuxcnc 2.7, pathpilot, M4, pokeys, other and UCCNC machine control software will run like on my machine`s at a point where i can run 3D file`s fast and have the 2 problems M3 has gone. showing me a pick of a file running at a speed that most machines will fly apart or walk across a room with only 2 out of the 3 program is not enough for me to speed money to convert to linuxcnc.
I am not bagging any of the programs or you but if you can show me a program that can cut a3D file fast on a big router all day 24/7 say at 1500mm/min with raped`s at 2000mm/min acc tuned in so the machine is happy, and those 2 problems I have on my big machine don`t happen what gerry mentioned earlier or a different post cant rember where, they are the only problem I have with M3 I might go to that.
but showing speed`s that I think are to fast on 2 out of 3 is not enough
