or you could make a differant zero plate that doesn't require a connection to the router bit. something with a spring switch in it for example Another solution is to purchase a differant router that's not doubly insulated like the Bosch. for example the PC690. Yes I use a Bosch right now, but that's being changed next week as soon as the Precisebits collet set get here.

Hi Yves, I can say from experience you will do that once and probably never again!
I have a little check list that I made after doing that. After a few projects I never have to use the check list as I have it memorized.
One thing I always do before running the macro is, test the touch plate and clip to make sure there are no broken wires on either. I just touch them together and verify on-screen the probe indicator works.
    Thank You.

For M881, M889, and M6End, just add this for the second line, after Sub Main().

MsgBox "Don't forget to connect the wire!!",48,"Connect Wire"

    Hi Gerry,

Recently purchased the 2010 screen-set. Unfortunately i have some blur issues with the fonts in the screen-set. See attachment.

    Screen resolution is 1920x1080.

    Any tips/ideas/solutions?

    Thanks

Uncheck "Auto Screen Enlarge" in General Config. Then Close and Restart.

Depending on which size screenset you're loading, you'll usually want to drag the lower right corner of the window to fit the screen.

You might also want to uncheck "Boxed DRO's and Graphics"

Gerry, I've asked this before and you've given me the answers before but I can't find it here and I've lost all my emails.

    1. What is the best version of Mach to use with your screenset.

    2. My plate thickness and Z clearance settings reset to zero when I close and restart Mach.

I had a computer take a lightening strike and I'm having to start from new.

    Thanks, Darryl

    1) I don't really know. Any 3.42 version from 3.42.020 and up, or any 3.43 version from 3.43.028 and up.

2)What version of Mach3? Older versions can't save some of the DRO info, as it wasn't supported back then.

I think one solution will take care of both of my problems. I'm sure I'm using an older version of Mach. I'll upgrade and see if the problems persist.

    Thanks

I'm using 3.42.020 on my machine, and it works fine for me. Although I sometimes need to press Feedhold twice before it will stop.
All versions of Mach3 have bugs. Some more than others. Generally, if the version you have is working for you, stick with it.

Hi I have the 2010 screenset set up and working fine with the laser X and Y positioning by adding the code you gave me earlier to the m890 macro but what I cannot figure out is why when I first switch on mach3 the modified macro m890 sets the dro's but fails to move the X&Y to the zero, If iI press the zero all axis button it works fine and the next time I run the macro it works without a problem, is this what you would expect or have I not got things right.
p.s I still think this screen is the best thing since sliced bread

Not sure if I'll have an answer, but what code are you using?

    Hi,
    I added Code "G0 X0 Y0"
    While IsMoving()
    Wend
to the M890.mis macro to send the X&Y to the cross hair position this works perfectly after the second time following initial start up of mach3 but the first time from start up when I click the red laser button all that happens is the DROs change to the preset offset values and the axis do not move until I click the zero all axis button, after the first time it all works perfect

Fixture offset radio buttons not working

I've set some fixtures up and want to use the different G54 - G59 fixture offsets. While the function of the radio button does work it does not show which radio button is selected (Selected button stays empty).
Is there already a fix for this or am I a one in a million case?

Also, if I program the fixtures into my G-code will it reflect which fixture is running on that same screen when executed?

Go to the Operator Menu, then Brain Control, and enable Offset LEDs.brn
    Axis_Scale.brn should also be enabled.

Yes, it will show the proper offset when changed by the g-code.

What version of Mach3 are you using? I just tried it here with 3.43.062 and it seems to work fine.
