machine home

hi all
i have a problem in machine home point ,
when i press home push button while machine is stop in any point , machime didn't go to home point correctly in X axis and Y axis... just move short distance in this axis and stop and machine coordinate became X0 Y0 Z0 .
but this place not the spicific place for home point .
you know the most of CNC machine , home point in the left bottom machine work ... now machine define the point it already stop in there as machine home point .
this happend when i press home push button in this position .

Your ruler or lineaal, it's an magnetic strip by which the machine defines where it's actual position is,(x,y,z axis) maybe a little dirty.
The machine, sometimes, can give some strange side effects like running over referencepoint or will give a referencepoint reached while it has not.
Just clean it up & it will work again like before.
If your machine has heidenhain onboard you can try this (keep the feedrate to < 5%, crashes are possible on a dirty ruler) ;

Lineaal is the part called in Dutch, i don't know the English word for it,
I translated it with an online dictionary where it was translated to ruler in English if this was an correct translation i don't know.
It could also be the sensor attachted to this ruler.
