Good day all,

Maxxturn 65 lathe. (older model).
Fanuc 18i controller.

Please can someone assist me. I am trying to finish the installation of the multi-tool turret after it was removed for repairs. I get to the point in the steps where it says " Rotate tool disk (1) further until the zero pulse is detected at the rotary encoder". I have struggled to find this zero pulse marker in the Fanuc. I have looked all over to find the encoder pulse count, or a 0/1 indicator in the I/O pages, but all I can find are the servo/axis encoder counters for XYZUWC etc. This turret is assigned as a spindle and not an servo/axis.

I would be grateful for any assistance.

On my Cincinnati with duplomatic turret I use oscilloscope. Manual says do it by this way
