    Mazak L-1 graphics display

I'm running a Mazak TX-48 with an L-1 NC unit.
My problem is the display on the graphics option. As far as I can tell, it doesn't work.

I've done all the scale settings properly, as far as I know, but with 'nozzle trace' and 'shape erase' nothing happens - except some pixel artifacts that appear around the x and y axis display area of the screen. The work support display will work - but nothing draws over it.

Is this function able to break in this way? Is there a paramater that might be throwing it off so it doesn't display? Or perhaps there is a physical reason it's not sensing where the nozzle is? The manuals don't mention anything about the technical side of this feature, and we cannot afford mazak support.
Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Still having the problem, email me at [email protected]. We have one of these units that we are parting out.
