mcam and romi mill post question

The post I have for my machine puts tool change like a arm tool loader and not a turret. Is there away to take out that out so it doesn't try and tell the machine to get the next tool ready.

you must be talking about pre-staging of the next tool. Yes this can be done but it depends on what version of Mastercam you are using.

If you are in Mastercam X then you will find this in the control definiton under the "Tool" control topic. There is a checkbox for pre-stage of the tools. Disable this checkbox and the extra tool outputs should go away.

If you are in Mastercam 9 or before then open your post in an editor. Search for the word "stage" you should find a switch for the pre-stage of the tools. Set the value to 0 and this will remove the extra tool outputs.

If you have any quesitons about this contact your local dealer as this should be easy for them to help you with.

    Hope this helps
