Getting help here seems like a hopeless quest
Quickstep with motors & drivers from Hubbard CNC.
Hello, I live in Antrim county.......yes..we are far far away from help up here! Just finished setting up my own equipment. Origianally set it up with quickstep, then changed over to MachIII (more functionality), so I have some experience with both pieces of software.
What kind of problems are you having? Getting signal out of the LPT port? wiring? calibration? smoothness? homing? limits? importing g-code?
Drop me a line with a list of what you need to do/accomplish. I can tell you this...It doen't seem that complex after you make it work the first time....but till you reach that point the learning curve can be pretty steep!

Grew up about 4 1/2 miles north of the intersection you speak of. About a mile north of where the Muskegon River crosses M-66. Went to Evart Schools. Where direction of the intersection are you?
