    MODAL IS OUT OF G80 ERROR

    Hi, please help me.

    We have FANUC series 31i control unit and manual guide i program.
    An alarm occurs between two drill cycles at this control unit. Simulation is working without error but we push the cycle start button , machine is alarm occurs. Alarm is 3572 Modal is out of G80. How is correct this error?

    Do you have a G80 in there between the cycles? You should. Are you using canned cycles or manual guide i drilling? Either way there needs to be a G80 in there between the seperate cycles, G80 is canned cycle cancel by the way. Hope this helps.

    I am using manual guide i drilling cycles. Yes i did. I put G80 code between the cycles but it occurs

    Go towards the end of your program and run the simulation from there, the idea is that you wan't to get your cancel codes read. Manual guide I can be very picky if you stop somewhere in the middle of a program and then try to restart at a different point. You can also try putting this in, in mdi mode and run it. G80 G90 G40 G49 G94. Then call your prog into memory and try running it. Post your prog here and I can take a look at it for ya.

    Also put a note where it hangs up on ya, it will make it easier for me to troubleshoot it.
