Is anyone interested in my PCBs? I will send drawings to manufacturer, so I can order some PCBs for you. I don't know price yet, but I guess that will be around 10 €.

    Jvolk, congratulate!

Moraru, install in chain of the signal Reset external Brown-out Detection, for instance МС34064 ( http://www.microsemi.com/datasheets/mc34064.pdf ) or similar. This must help with zeroizing EEPROM. See the scheme.

On my experience turned out to be that AtMega8 more subject to malfunction EEPROM, than AtMega48 or AtMega88. For AtMega8 better to install external Brown-out Detection.

Brown-out Detection (BODLEVEL) it is necessary enabled!
I this shown on picture in post №48.
I do not know that in earl BODLEVEL in JTAGICE mkII (beside me such no). But it is necessary to install maximum importance of the voltage Reset.

I will second using BOD, I am running the original Elm configuration and it used to do nasty things to the tuning parameters every now and then at power off without BOD, set it and never had another problem, machine been running at least a year without incident since then.

    Cheers.

    Hello everyone!

I'm having some problems with jvolk's servo boards. I have ordered PCB's that he had made and populated one board. For a moment everything worked and I was able to control the motor using the servo-tune program. After a while I wasn't able to make a connection between my computer and the servo controller. I also soldered only the MAX232, Atmega88, 7805 and the necessary capacitors, resistors and connectors on a second PCB and I still haven't been able to make a connection. When I connect the programmer I am able to read and program the chip, I have also checked all the connections and voltages and everything seems so be fine.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem with my servo controllers?

    Best regards,
    Primoz
