    drives flex and tpi leadscrews

    regarding the flex of the 37" span i dont think it will be a problem (at least i hope not the rails are very stiff) ill let ya know on the first cuts. regarding the Keling hardware i bought
    there 2-425 oz-in for y and z 2-495 oz-in for x axis slave config and 5056 drivers the lead screws are 10tpi acme bronze nuts with my own antibacklash setup(hope this works too!!) i just botched my last motor mount gotta make another (chair)

    Im back with news

    Ok i was away for about three weeks shes up and running working like a charm ive posted a pic of it (this is prob my third peice ive cut on it) its a template to hold one of my bodys for cutting the pockets in the back of a guitar. i just want to say thanks to all here for your FANTASTIC!! help this is one great place you people have made here.     ok were building another one a 30"longX10"wide just to do inlay+radius on guitar fingerboards ill post some pics soon guys. :banana:

    Jog speeds

    i can run them at 55ipm i have the y axis at 75ipm when i get my solid motor mounts done ill prob be able to bump it up higher

    By hand or router

    These here are all done by hand. i have about 10 different models that are all going to be done with the router(including these) hence making the router. But still they are all going to be finished by hand(just makes my job a little easier).accuracy is spot on with this machine thanks to everyone in the zone

    Kudos & a Couple of Questions

    First, that is about the sweetest DIY router I've seen.

    You wouldn't happen to know the manufacturer's part number on those main rails would you?

    Do you, or anyone else for that matter know, can those open sided bearings be used to hang a component?

    Yep, stone axe and bear skin tools. I made three and kept this one. I hoping to use the CNC to improve things.

    Im sorry but no i dont have the part # for the rails i bought them new off ebay from a store called Dock hardware (I threw the Thomson boxes away) sorry and thanks for the kind words on the machine 11bravo
