So I'm in the market for a used vmc I have outgrown the Bridgeport CNC. I definitely need tool changer and ability to add a 4th axis soon. I was originally set on a tormach because of price and could have 4th axis added cheap but all the horror stories have scared me so looking to a used vmc. I have always wanted a haas mini or tm1 but recently have been looking at a lot of fadals vmc10,15,3016 in the mid to late 90's range. Basically my biggest concern is cost of adding a 4th axis and wiring/drives if it doesn't have one already. If I can get a used fadal 15 with 4th already wired and ready to go for around $5000 more than one without would that be the best way to go?

Also if I've researched correct an i right that to add a 4th drive and wiring to a haas it is like $2500(plus table) and it would be ready to throw the rotary on and go?

Whatever I go with needs to be full simultaneous 4th and not just indexing
