Need a basic PLC, suggest a model.

I have an application where I need to output a 0-10V analog signal at least 14 bit would be nice, may settle for less. I would like to use a PLC to output a certain voltage when a certain input is active. For example, I would like to have 8 switches connected to the PLC. When I push button 1, the PLC outputs 1V, button 2 outputs 3.7V, etc. The voltage values are arbitrary and I would like to be able to set them using buttons and a small lcd screen on the PLC. That way I could change the voltage output for each button, use them for awhile, then change them to something else when I needed to. I have used zelio smart relays in the past and they have everything I need except an analog output. Something similar is what I am looking for.

Something like this but with analog output: http://www.us.telemecanique.com/prod...lay/index.html

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Matt

    Have a look here> http://www.divelbiss.com/
I have bought a bunch of these for the plant I work at.
They are fairly inexpensive, easy to program, and they have pretty good software for creating your ladder. Quite compact for a simple application like yours.

Not sure about your budget, but have a look at National Instruments http://www.ni.com/ for Labview and their hardware. Very flexible stuff and easy to use/modify as it is "virtual instrumentation"

    also check out these:

I recently used the EZtextPLC on a project. Nice configurable IO with little plug in block. Looks like they offer 12 bit Analog.

The one i ordered even had modbus/tcp

I've also used a few PLC's from automation direct, and they also offer nice HMI interfaces (C-More)

Another vote for Automation direct. I haven't used them in years (back when they were PLC Direct), but great value for the money.

Here's another interesting option... Never used them, but could be a useful resource. Used units should sell pretty cheap, I would think...
